I am French. For me, photography is like a bookmark in time.

Sometimes I look at a photograph taken on a journey and, for a moment, a smell, a sensation or an emotion comes back to me. It lets me keep a trace of a moment, and rediscover what I was feeling at that exact instant.

Passionate about travel and photography, I have been drawn to the image ever since I started travelling. It quickly gave me a real thirst for discovery: travelling, immersing myself in different cultures, learning other languages, meeting people and discovering new ways of living.

It also taught me to let go of what is unnecessary. Carrying less to be freer, keeping only the essentials and leaving more room for encounters and experiences. This philosophy still guides how I live and imagine my future.

I particularly love photographing movement and the moments that escape posed gestures. Sport, wildlife photography and concerts are worlds I especially enjoy, because they demand that I be attentive, reactive and always ready to catch the instant.

In 2017, I took part in a portrait workshop with the renowned photographer Vee Speers, as part of the Rencontres d'Arles. A fascinating experience that helped me deepen my thinking about portraiture and continue developing my eye.

In 2019, I created a business that brought together several passions of mine: travel, freedom, birds and, of course, photography. I chose to sell at markets and offer postcards printed on the spot. I photographed children with my birds. Rather than asking the children to strike a classic pose in front of the lens, I tried to make them forget they were being photographed, thanks to my birds. That was when something more authentic appeared: a look, a smile, an unexpected expression, a movement… Spontaneous moments.

In 2020, I left to live on the island of La Réunion. I joined a photography club and discovered DÉCLIC in L'Éperon. The pleasure of meeting every Saturday morning to talk about photography: exchanging around a theme, sharing techniques, discovering or rediscovering great photographers, comparing our visions. These encounters mattered deeply in my journey. They reminded me that photography is also a story of sharing, curiosity and exchanged gazes.
